Ok, so I have been told I need to join the fold of bloggers and have my own...especially since I have moved across the country and am away from my family and such....So, here I am folks! I don't know how exciting my posts will be, as I am living the life of a perpetual student, but there it is :)
I have started my new life as a college student and it is kicking my butt! I quite enjoy it though :) I enjoy all the learning and all my new friends. I really did end up in the right program at the right time. All the wonderful people in my MSW program are awesome (yes Jean, even your BFF has moments of awesomeness..hehe...).
I have begun attending a family ward, after being in a single's ward for almost 5 years. Let's just say it has been an adjustment...a welcome one though. I quite love my ward. They are pretty amazing. AND, I got a calling within my first two weeks of being here (who is shocked? Not I...) and I teach Sunday School for the 13 year olds. Yep....that is an adjustment :) My favorite has been that both the Bishop and the SS Pres. have said "this is the toughest Sunday School class we have right now, but I am sure you will do fine." Yep....gotta love it!
I have also begin practicing with the Cape Fear Roller Girls and I love it! I miss my FABULOUS Sin City Girls, I sure do! But CFRG are amazing and I am learning TONS!! It is pretty incredible what you can learn when you make it to practice regularly ;)
Well, I am sure there will be more to follow at some point...but here we are world....let's see what we can make of it!
